Happy New Year 2008!
Can't believe it's already 2008!
Richie got Scott the movie Running Man (with Arnold Schwarzenegger) for Christmas ~ if you haven't seen it or don't remember here's the link to the imdb site http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093894/. I was browsing the plot summary on the back of the DVD case and noticed that the movie is set in the year 2019! It was made in 1987 and, apparently, that is what movie makers felt our society would be like in the year 2019! Now, we are only 11 years from that date and it seems hardly likely that we would be that lost as a society. But, then I think of all the ridiculous reality shows that are coming out and the stupid things people will do for money...and then I wonder, is Running Man really all that far off? I shudder to think we might actually let something like that on television (sic!)
On another note, Cailey will be turning 19 in the year 2019 and it's fun to think what the next 11 years might bring: she will have graduated from high school (starting college? I hope!..maybe taking a year off to travel to foreign countries :o) Ben will be turning 14, in eighth grade, oh my!
But, alas, it's 2008 and we have this year to explore and hope for another fun year and more adventures! Happy New Year to all our friends and family!

Happy New Years to the Adams Family from the Heldt family. I must say I fell much better this New Years without all the Jager, but we missed celebrating it with you again.
I LOVED the Running Man. Let's be real though. All that talk of kids is great, but I will be 44 in 2019! Ugh! Anyway, Happy 2008 to you all and here's looking forward to us all hanging out again.
Apparently a few glasses of wine feels the same way as jager the next day. Ugh... I guess I lucked out being pregnant last year! Happy New Year!
