Look what I did!
I made drapes for the living room! I sewed them ~ they are even lined! We have lived in this house for six years and I finally got around to buying the fabric and getting them done. I have been putting it off because I kept changing my mind on what I wanted to do...so I finally just settled on something really simple and got 'er done. Yeah, Me!

They look great. But I have to ask, what's with the Christmas tree before Thanksgiving??? Weren't you just complaining about this very thing?
Yeah, we decided to put it up because we are having Thanksgiving at our house and we thought it was a nice backdrop. Also, we aren't going to be here for Christmas so we wanted to enjoy it a little longer. It doesn't have any ornaments on it ~ we will do that this weekend, per tradition.
I guess we gave into peer pressure ~ it all looked so nice :o) :o)
I was hoping to have our carpet cleaned before I decorated, but I guess I will have it cleaned after it all comes down.
Holy CRUMB - YOu go girl! I have been repairing ours for weeks but never made my own. Way to go!
